The Pine Island Area Historical Society was organized in 1998.  Located at 314 North Main in Pine Island, MN, the historical society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.

Pine Island History Center Hours

The History Center is open Sundays from 1pm - 3:30pm and Mondays from 8am - 11am. The Center will be closed if school is closed due to weather. 

For a specific time that is convenient for you (other than the regular hours) please call 507-356-2802 or contact the History Center via the online contact form here on the website.

Cheese Festival Open House

PINE ISLAND AREA HISTORY CENTER

Noon – 5:00 PM each day 
Closed during the parade. 

“HERE COMES THE BRIDE”
is the theme for the Open House this year. 
On display will be wedding related items such as wedding dresses, quilts, photos, marriage licenses, etc.

Antique/Old Christmas Decorations

Do you have old Christmas decorations that you're thinking about throwing out?  Instead of just tossing them away, why not have them preserved as a part of history?  Donate them to the History Center for use in decorating the facility.
