Welcome!

The Pine Island Area Historical Society was organized in 1998.  Located at 314 North Main in Pine Island, MN, the historical society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.

History Center Hours

The History Center is open Sundays from 1pm - 3:30pm and Mondays from 8am - 11am or by appointment. During the last two weeks of December, the months of January and February an appointment is advised prior to planning your visit to the Pine Island Area History Center. The History Center is closed at that time to give our volunteers a well-deserved break as well as a time to do maintenance type projects.

Please contact us here through the website or by leaving a message at 507-356-2802.  If you wish to talk to someone, please call Executive Director Doris Glamm at 507-398-5326 or 507-356-4112.
